This plant popped up while I was away in August. I did have lavender (now dead - you can see the brown remnants to the right). We've only ever used herb, lavender or vegetable seeds, so it must have blown in (or been in the soil I bought). It doesn't have a smell.
Any ideas??

Purslane. It is a common weed, related to moss roses. But it is one of the best edible weeds, being very nutritious AND actually tasty, unlike some of the other edible weeds.
Here's a link to a purslane potato salad recipe I posted:

Here's info about its nutritional benefits: https://www.nutrition-and-you.com/purslane.html
People often write in to say this must be my lavender (or carrots or whatever) because that is all I have ever planted there, but it looks different. Weeds are ubiquitous in air, soil, water, on feet of birds, etc, etc. Never be surprised that a weed has popped up!!
