It's a great photo -- this is what you mean by "growing under glass" ? The scale of it -- wow!
...I was wondering about the patchwork on the ground, too. Glad someone else asked and JONA replied.
Here's my little volunteer peach in bloom -- it was full of blossoms ...all 23 of them -- day before yesterday, then we had what I call "Mary Poppins weather" with gusty roaring spring (and fall) winds. These and a couple of others were the only ones left yesterday when I got out there with my iPad to take pictures.
