Help required - new lawn from seed

Hi guys

We have grown grass, purely from seed and are yet to do the first cut. Now its appearance is slightly deteriating so we are concerned.

The order of are project were as follows:

Soil
Top soil
Grass seed
Plenty of watering over first month to 6 weeks, have had lots of rain and sun balance too.

2 and a half months (approx) its grown, was lovely dark gree coloring but has now got yellow tinge appearance to it. Do I need to cut it for the first time?

Warm welcome to the forum.

There are 2 major variables to consider. What type of grass seed did you plant? Where are you located - a specific local - like more specific than just a state?

With that information I can do some research for you and find an intelligent answer.

needs fertilizer. it was green and growing from the starter fertilizer and now it's not growing. You're not feeding it, what would your husband look like if you stopped feeding him? Grass is very expensive to maintain Food, Water, and all the maintenance
