Mystery plant, some type of Aloe?

Hello, I just adopted a small plant from a coworker. She was not able to tell me what type of plant it is but I am guessing some type of aloe by the look of it. Its fairly small, and is currently in a 3 in pot. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks!

...by the way I like your photo book. The dark green backing makes the colors stand out. Looks like we have the same "flower love"
