which would be better as liquid fertilizer?

ok, miracle-grow makes soil to acidic..

so I've been told about fish emulsion and protogrow.. who has used both and which do you prefer as well as why.

compost tea works wonders btw, it's what I usually use - but this winter I want to try something new.
