germinating lemon balm

Any tips with germinating and caring for lemon balm once I have seedlings?

I haven't done it from seeds, but I don't think it would be hard. My main tip is plant it in containers! It is in the mint family and like other mints it spreads AGGRESSIVELY. I did not do that and now the lemon balm is becoming a serious pest in my yard.

I toss lemon balm seed where I want it to grow, and from then on it grows and plants itself.

Just like any other herb sow where you want to grow. but I agree plant lemon balm in containers, in a couple years it WILL take over your garden and become a weed. andbe careful one seed could turn into a monster. lol with that said I cant wait for my lemon balm to sprout up and start growing. I love lemon balm.
