I repotted my Sunflower seedlings and assumed they need support at this stage. I've used parts of a Beech branch and some ribbon. Have I done it right?

You doing yours in a bathroom window maybe.
Idk if its the pic or if the window is fog tinted.

Had a look at those posts - looks like it turned out really well, beautiful sunflowers. Unfortunately the little room there is in the garden, I don't want to use up as this isn't my house, and the weather seems like it would be too cold (around 10 degrees outside).

Yeah, I did think they should have thicker stems. I was hoping that might improve as they grow or when I'm able to put the pots outside, which might be a few weeks away. They're by our bedroom window. Oh, and it's not fogged, the background is just blurred. If the weather was better, I think they would be fine, as I'm basically noctural nowadays and hence they have light at all times - during the day from the window, and during the night from our light. However, the past week it's been grey and raining and suddenly cold again. Yay, England

It's not so much the rain I'm worried about as the cold weather. If it rains I would just put them under the table outside until it stops. As for whether they can be grown in pots, I don't know, I just got five seeds in a gift set with a small coconut husk pot along with a few instructions.
A vertical garden sounds interesting, what exactly does it involve?
I can't find any information regarding temperature, other than that sunflowers do well at around 20 degrees celcius (70F). Will they survive at 10 celcius, which is what it will be if they go outside?
