orange butterfly weed seeds...

I grabbed a pod to open just the other day and check on the seeds. they are still "whiteish" in color---have not turned that "brown" like they have on most of my yellow butterfly weed. I am just curious if anyone knows, will they still be viable if I let them dry out awhile, or, do the rest of the pods on the plant need to age longer and turn that "brownish" color before harvesting them?

I think they are immature and not likely viable... Let them turn brown first.
