garlic.

I don't know how to plant it, when to plant it, or how deep. I live in Zone 5, and I heard you're not supposed to use supermarket garlic, so I got stuff at the farmer's market. ok so I plant a bulb in the fall I think, but how deep? and what about in the spring, what do I do? let me know if I'm right or wrong on the other stuff too.

I planted mine an inch down, and they seem to be doing well. I planted in the spring. Do they work well to plant in fall too?

Hi Arawhcuk,

You don't plant the entire garlic bulb. Remove the largest cloves and plant those. Just push them into the soil up to your second knuckle. Here you go.
