It's been a while :) But........

Hiya Everyone,

Wow it's been quite some time since I've been on here lol. :) Last time I was on here it was regarding my roses...and waiting to find the right house for the family. Well found the house"check", next pull up the poor un-kept junipers that were in overabundance outside the house, lol try to save the poor magnolia tree and crepe myrtles in the backyard. So with all that said...juniper's went buh bye :). The magnolia tree saved woohooo :) just some organic TLC...the poor crepe myrtles never had a chance. :( Previous home owners didn't plant them in a well drained area and they were in bog territory sooooo they didn't make it.

So the front of the casa :) junipers were uprooted and the wax bushes next to the garage. I added errrmmm bags upon bags lol of manure, compost to help out the soil it seemed as if that might be the reasoning the juniper's weren't looking so great(that and neglect from previous owners). Here are some before and after pictures :) I have more pictures to take from the new flowers put in this year these pics are from last year. The initial overhaul of the front lawn :) lol

First few pictures...before...then during...and home in need of serious powerwashing lol....then after and lining up the plants...so these were in April of 2009 :) I'll take pictures tomorrow of how the front looks now and how the plants are doing.
Plants used: Gulf Green Hawthornes, Yesterday/Today/Tomorrows, Red Star Cordylines, New Guinea Impatiens, and Crystal Blush Calla Lilies also this year we added Vinca's. Oh and I have a small container plant holder with creeping jenny, vinca's and dracnea's?<<sp lol There are 3 open spots when I made the diagram for the layout for the front for spiral juniper's but I'm waiting to see how the shrubs are going to do and will add them in soon. :)

I'll post the updated pictures of how the front looks this year :) small steps but oh my goodness was this a lot of hard work lol
