Guilt

My yard was so over grown. After living here for 8 years, this is the first Spring where I really feel pride and see the fruits of the weeding, mulching, transplanting! :D

I am feeling a little guilty as I pull up and throw away prefectly good plants just because they are in the wrong spot or over grown. I feel a little like a mass murders.

Thought? Am I over thinking this?

Don't feel guilty -- START A COMPOST PILE! Then you'll be serving the "Great Circle of Life" and giving them new purpose as compost, to grow things anew!

Two thoughts. Instead of throwing them away, give them away. And, try cutting an overgrown shrub to the ground to start it all over again, works well for me.
