HELP! Cactus turning pale green?

I got my cactus about a year ago and it’s been healthily growing, on a south-facing window sill. But now it’s turning pale green/unhealthy looking. Should I just lop them off? What could have been the cause? I don’t water them too frequently, maybe like once in 2 weeks (though sometimes I don’t water them for like a month and they’ve been fine), should I rotate it more? Lessen the sunlight? Also, I have no idea what kind of cactus this is. Thanks!! Picture is attached

Too much sun can cause it. Also, have you been feeding it?

I think a little too much water. I don't know the scale, but I prefer to under pot desert plants. I use mostly terracotta or pots with a lot of holes.
