Hi everyone. I have some trays of wheatgrass with brown root rot, which I think to be pythium sp. Can I add it to my compost?

Re: mould

I usually don't add sick plants to compost. Unless you know your compost pile heats up, it would be safer not to as cold composting will not kill all pathogens.
Happy gardening in Hawaii. Gardens are where people grow.
