What to feed my dragons blood trees

I have five juvenile dragons blood trees on a farm in Australia. I know they need open, sandy, free-draining soil which I have provided. I have them in full sun. They are generally slow growing but I want to speed up the process if possible. What should I feed them ? Some sites say slow release fertiliser. Any proven suggestions ?
