Idea for plant trial

Hallo out there

I am studding Horticulture in Australia, Melbourne. It is my second year and I just love it. We have been conducting a few plant trials with Poinsettias, Sweetcorn and Broad beans. Now it’s our turn to develop a new trial. But I can’t think of anything. I don’t want to compare potting mixes or organic fertilizer verses chemical fertiliser. That has all been done before and is not really challenging or interesting. Do you guys have any ideas???

I appreciate your help

Thanks
Mic

Hows this?

Read "The Secret Lives of Plants" and try to recreate some of the (in)famous experiments in there (Bose, Goethe...you'd be in good company and it's still contended by the status quo of the botany world for the most part)

Hi

Thanks for your replay, that’s a good idea. :D I will do that or at least have a browse through the book. Thanks very much.
