Devil Claws

Has anyone heard of the plant called Devil Claws? They come from Arizona and they have really strange looking seed pods on them. :?: Here is what the seed pod looks like:

Re: Devil Claws

Those 5 clawed seed pods are very rare and they usually are 3 or 4 claws. Those things are quote scary but the 2 and 3 clawed seed pods are very useful like making Halloween spiders.

So, you have this growing in your yard? What does the plant look like, is it like an aloe?
