Plant disease in Texas

Hello,
I live in Texas and have hollies planted on my side yard. It seems something has infested them. Can anyone please help on how to fix it? I am attaching some pics.

Location: ranches in sierra nevada mountains California & Navada high desert

There may be a sickness, but there is more than a good chance something is eating your plant. Check around for slugs, snails and such, there even looks like a chewing fellow, grasshopper maybe.
