Coniferous help!

Hi!

I have two plants that are both coniferous, one is a cedar and the other I am not sure about. I water both once a week and they get some indirect sunlight in the morning to early afternoon. But both are brown and dried and I'm not sure what's wrong! We lost another coniferous plant recently, but all my other plants are fine and happy!

Is there something I'm not doing?

Help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: Coniferous help!

Conifers like most northern deciduous trees need (if they are in a pot) to be poked with a chopstick daily. If the chopstick comes out damp don't water. If dry its time to water.

Usually when pines, spruce, cedar, when planted to field (or pot) turn brown they have died.

Re: Coniferous help!

Hmmm okay. I water them every single week, so I will definitely give them time and wait for the soil to dry!

Thanks so much! :)
