Jasmine

A friend has a Jasmine vine that she wants to transplant but the plant has bare stalks from the
ground up to about 14 inches or more.

I am attaching a picture of the plant for regerence.

Any suggestions would be helpful to transplant this Jasmine.

Thanks

Re: Jasmine

Welcome to the Forum! :) Glad you found us.

You didn't attach a picture, but I think we got the idea of what bare stems look like.

Where are you located? Somewhere where jasmine can stay outdoors all winter?

Jasmine can tolerate pretty severe pruning. When she transplants it, she can cut some of the bare stems off at ground level. But if all the stems are bare at the bottom, she will need to leave some with leaves and buds, to continue the plant.

Here's an article about pruning jasmine:

Re: Jasmine

Located in Phoenix AZ.

Apparantly the image was too big so I resized it and attached again.
