Is my computer just slow or is it the website

I know my computer can run slow sometimes. Especially now that I have installed Norton that slows everything down. But it seems that I am getting more double posts because it is taking so long to upload. Is it my computer or is it this site that is slow to respond?

Norton does slow things down. However this is the busy time of the year for gardening sites. The entire Internet was slowing down for me but it was my satellite connection because of cloudy conditions. Nevertheless I just gave the server box a kick, just in case it needed refreshing.

If you're using Windows, bring up the System Monitor and you'll be able to see whether (1) your processor (CPU) is overloaded or (2) your internet connection is slow or (3) whether it's an external problem, like a slow website.

Hit Ctrl-Shift-Esc simultaneously to bring up the System Monitor.

You can also determine if the website is slow simply by visiting others. Unless they're slow, too, its your computer or your internet connection (not the websites).

Sometimes I had it be slow to post...
But then I realized that when this happened, it was at times when it was after sundown for the entire continental united states.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
