National Food Day and World Food Day

I would like to know what you may be doing to bring attention to our National Food Day on October 24?

I have emailed Whole foods, it is the end of harvest for us here in Cold or Hotto (spelled Colorado) at 7000 feet altitude. With all of the questions about our food and how growing locally and organically is so much more healthy for us, what can we do together to make a difference?

We have given and will give away some more or our harvest to others and share the garden during the year.

The children here seem to love the garden, especially eating food right out of the dirt!

:D

We also work with our church, we also started working with a few of the local thrift stores.

They have clothes, and some people that come in not only need clothes but food also.

I know for us, this year we had a lot more food than we could deal with.

As we had previously started and ran a thrift store at our church, it was great to be able to give some excess fresh food.

Will you share with your customers and neighbors about National Food Day to get them thinking about the food they are eating?
