Mystery Plant!

I composted something that has sprouted up all over the pile!

Any clues on what it could be?

Definitely something in the cucurbit family. I was thinking squash.

The two things that I always have volunteer from my compost are squash and tomatoes.

Thanks! I really hope so! I've had a rash of cucumber sproutings in my compost this year and it would be so nice to have variety. Tomatoes won't grow in my compost at all.

I do have a melon sprout though, I hope it survives!

I was gonna say a cucumber. Still a cucurbit...
