container gardens for handicapped

Hi everyone! I am new here and have just one question. My mother and her garden club do a project for a local nursing home annually. The past has been vertical gardens but they wish to change. Has anyone done much with raised gardens for seniors in wheelchairs? Any help, links or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This will be their 2013 project but they wish to start planning. Thanks in advance to any and all help. Mike

Here's a discussion from two years ago right here at THG about container gardening for disabled people. Unfortunately, the photos of one member have been moved, but the discussion is all right there. :)

I remember one other, but can't find it at the moment.
