I believe I have a nutrient imbalance with my soil. My root vegetables - radishes, carrots - are producing huge leaves and flowering but they are very skimpy underground. The radishes are tiny and stringy. Does anyone have any idea why this is occurring and what to do about it? Thanks.
Typically too much nitrogen can cause a lot of greenery with little to no bulbing. Do the tops look healthy and green? If not some pictures might help others to diagnose the problem.
