I recently purchased some roses, something Tea I believe. Anyway, they're a little thinned out as I have them now (still in pots). But bottom line I have a few questions.
1. When is the best time to transplant them? I intend to get larger pots as I can not plant them in the ground sadly.
2. How can I give them a more full appearance?
3. I'm assuming that to give a full appearance I have to prune it a certain way, when is it best to do this?
I'm still a green horn when it comes to gardening so if these questions are a little silly you'll have to forgive me. Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Hey Tintedwinter. Ken here in the Chicago area. What you probably have
is a hybrid tea rose. It will get 4-6 feet tall. This is your classic long stem rose.
The best time to transplant is when they are actively growing, which is in the
spring. But now is still a good time to transplant.
As far as pruning goes, when each flower goes off, prune back to the first
5-leaflet. You will get much better rebloom that way. Always keep the center
open by pruning out any crossing branches. That way light can get down in the
center of the plant and help with more blooms.
