Pindo Palm Help

Mon Apr 16, 2012 7:57 pm

Hi-
We moved to NE Florida about 2 years ago and we have a Pindo Palm in our front yard. The first summer we were here, the palm grew a decent amount of fruit, but last summer (and now it's looking like this year too) it hasn't produced any fruit. It also doesn't seem to be growing too much.

I know the Pindos are slow growers, but it just seems like it's stagnant - not dying, but not really growing. We give it palm fertilizer every few months and it gets water from the sprinkler system, but we just started "direct" watering a few weeks ago.

Any advice!? I definitely don't have a green thumb, but not knowing much about palms, we're looking for some help.

Thanks!
