I have a lot of FREE winter heardy cactus I can fill a flat rate postage box and mail it to you if you pay the postage?
This stuff is extremely easy to grow. You cut pieces off then stick them in the soil. You keep it watered and it sprouts roots. It grows about 3 ft per year. The trick to grow this is the soil must well drained sand and organic material. You do not dig a hole for planting. Place the cactus on the surface then then put soil around the cactus. This high spot gives it plenty of drainage. If the soil does not drain the cactus will die. Mix about 20% sand with potting soil.
Wife knows the names of these. The prickly pear and the long arm both have multi color flowers, purple, blue, pink, red, yellow, and other colors.
You pay the postage I will send it. $12 flat rate box or $15 flat rate box take your pick?
We have moved to a different house with a larger yard. The cactus at the old house is going to be cut down. Cactus is planted all around the house and both sides of the driveway all the way to the street. Probably 100 ft of cactus needs to be cut down and moved. We have more than we need I can fill a flat rate box full of cut off pieces that you can plant.

I can get you a box with some of each cactus. Your in Canada so I need to check with the post office to see how much postage will be to your mailing address. Send me your address. It is strange I can usually send a package to Canada, UK and Austraila cheaper than sending the same package to California, NY or Florida. That makes no sense to me.Green Mantis wrote:Would it be possible to get some of each? Can I pay C.O.D. for shipping or how does that work? Let me know please. I would be very grateful.
Thanks very much.
