A lily or not a lily.... That is the question.....

I hope the pictures turn out. I have a bunch of these growing with my iris' and tulips. I do not think they bloom but I can't remember. They do come back every year. They look sorta like lilies but the stem/trunk is hairy and I don't think lilies are. The root looks more bulb like that stringy. What are they? One picture was after a deer ate the plant down to the ground. It's grown back and is very tall. This one in particular always grows very tall, usually 3 to 4 feet high.

I am not sure what those are but I do have lilies that are bulb plants so those could be lilies.

those look like some VERY healthy asiactic lillies.I have smaller versions of them.

I forgot I had posted on here!!! I finally did discover what they were. Wal-Mart had some last year, late in the year I think, on their clearance garden table. They are Asiatic Tiger Lilies. Looks like I'll have several again this year. The one that got taller than me (I'm 5'4") last year actually has two plants coming up in the same place instead of just one. I think I have pictures of the blooms somewhere and I'll try to post pics (if I can remember how). I pulled several out last year thinking they were weeds cause they never bloomed before. Once I found out they were a lily of sorts, I replanted them in pots. They all produced a lot of seeds and I've planted lots of those plus the bulbs. [/img]
