Noob question - tiny white mites?

Hullo there, I've been trying to find something on this somewhere in the forum but since I couldn't here goes...

I have a potted corn plant in my house near a not-too-bright window and for a few months now I've been noticing teeny tiny little 1mm white wiggling creatures. I assumed they were mites or something and repotted corny ( he needed a bigger pot anyways). But the mites are back. I was starting to think maybe they're normal or something cos I can't find any mention of said bugs anywhere!

I know it's probably a silly question but if anyone can shed some light on it I would be very grateful cheers! :)

Well, if they are wiggly then they are probably larvae of some kind that originated from you soil. A weekly dose of neem oil should do the trick.
