My Garden Peas are Dying, What Should I Do?

I am hoping I can get a little help before I lose them all. A few days ago my garden peas were doing great, now the leaves and vines are turning yellow and browning and dying.

It has been so hot here and I have been giving them tons of water. Today I won't and see what happens in case I am overwatering, but is there a way to rejuvinate the dying ones back to life or do I just let nature take its course and go without peas for the year?

 :( :? Any help would be so much appreciated. swanni

Hi Swanni,

Sorry to hear this. You don't say where you live, but if you are having a heat wave you peas may have decided it's time to turn in for the season.

thankyou newt. central bc canada, hot weather then three days of storms, I think they are done for. have never had a problem before though. am re-planting though very late in hopes of just a few making it. hope your garden is terrific.

Swanni, you are very welcome! Hopefully it will stay cool enough for you to harvest enough for at least one meal.
