Orange Lilly ?

Orange Lilly ?

Hi just wondering if any one could help ? I have a ornage lilly in a container outside & was wondering the best way to dehead the flowers when faded ?

Do I take the stem as well ?

Unsure appreciate any help

Well I'm not sure of the form of your lily as the wild varieties are so small that all you have to do is pluck the flowers off, however the standard lilies sold at nurseries are large enough to remove the stem and flower with a pair of scissors or pruners.

yes it was bought from a nursery & the flowers are large.....
