lilac blight

I live on a small city lot, and take the liberty of managing adjacent gardens. My neighbor has carpenter ants (probably due to structural problems) and has had someone spraying the foundation for about 2 years. Since then i have noticed that lilacus vulgaris and a beautiful new french lilac have developed terrible fungus. Is there a connection?

lilac blight and pesticides?

Hi welcome to the forum! Hope you find it friendly and helpful. I took the liberty of moving your post. You had put this under Tomatoes, where it didn't seem to belong...

I don't know the answer to your question, but hopefully someone will come along who does...
