I have a small Strawberry patch that I want to move to a different area of my garden. I know the best time to do it would have been the fall. Unfortunately I was not able to do it then. Is it advisable to do it in the early spring?
You should be fine to transplant your straws BP.
Choose the strongest crowns and try to spread the roots as much as possable. You can safely cut the old foliage off and the plants will grow away strongly in the spring. As a general rule it is around 60 days from planting to fruiting.
