Possibly dying rosemary

I think I may have killed my new potted rosemary plant. It's been sitting in the container for a few weeks and the stalks are turning brown apart from the tips and the leaves from the brown area are falling off. I'm not sure what I've done. Is there any way to save it?

rosemary

Not sure, but the easiest way to kill rosemary is to over-water it. How moist is the soil it's in? It really wants to dry out pretty thoroughly between waterings. It is a mediterranean plant, used to poor, sandy soil, full sun, hot weather, not much water.... So the more of that you can recreate, the better it will like it.

Did you go from indoors to outdoors recently? I killed mine doing that, if you move it outside too quickly it dies fast.

Hmmm...I think it's most probably overwatered. The soil is quite moist especially at the bottom and it's not been getting much sunlight recently. I hope I haven't killed it completely!
