Help identifying house plants and propagating them?!

Hi I might be in the wrong forum here but I'm not sure if my plants are Japanese in origin!! I have a few house plants with thick trunk-like wooden stems with bark, and long green leaves sprouting out of the top. I have 3 different varieties, and also a couple of dragon trees. Is it possible to take cuttings from these plants? How do they reproduce? Also, is there a website where I can find out what they are? I have been searching the net with no luck so far!
Thanks :)

We can better help you with the ID, if you post some pictures of the plants for us. :)

Ok hopefully you can see these, this is the first time I've attempted adding photos! I'd like to know the type of plants, and whether I can/how to take cuttings from them if anyone knows?
Thanks!

The first one is a corn plant tree.
You may be able to propagte by air layering.
Gardens are a little bit of heaven on earth.

houseplants

I'm thinking the middle two are dragontrees. Dragon tree and corn plant are all varieties of dracaenia. They can be propagated by cuttings, but not easily without messing up the looks of the original one.

fruit&veg - took the liberty to editing your post so we can all SEE the photos here. For future ref. the image link should be bracketed by image codes like this:

Code: Select all

If you highlight the link and click on the box labeled Img, it'll be done for you automatically.

... Oh, don't thank me -- I'm just too lazy to click around in different windows/tabs :>

Haha thanks applestar! I am not very good with computers! :op

Thanks for identifying my plants, I don't want to mess up the originals as i have had them a long time and really like them so i think I'll just leave them to nature!

Any ideas what the last one is? I gave it to my mum as a present and she was asking, but I have no idea!
