Ummm ... what? Do you want to make the old mulch a different color for aesthetic reasons?

I don't think it would be a good idea, but I can't say I really know it would be a bad thing ... except, IMO, stains are chemicals that don't belong in the soil.

Old Mulch

Ok! I have found different webpages showing mulch colorants but they do show any retailers. Does anyone know where you could get this. You mix it in a garden sprayer and apply.

You might try this website:

https://www.powersourcing.com/sf/mulchcolorant.htm

If you don't find one listed for your area on the first page there, click on their link for More Mulch Colorant Suppliers. It will take you to a page where you can enter information about your local area.

I have no personal experience with the website or any of the suppliers they list, so I can't offer you any guidance in that respect. :)
