Tree Seed Swap

I have a large collection of tree seeds and I am starting a round-robin style seed swap for people living in the USA. A package of tree seeds will be sent from person to person where each person can take a few and contribute as well. It should be a fun way to learn about seeds that you would otherwise not have exposure to. If you are interested in participating I would love to hear from you.

Sounds really interesting! I have quite a few I can send, one question though. What kind of tree seeds are we talkin? and how exactly does this work, you send a few packets or different seeds, and I take a couple, add to it, and send it on to someone else.

Thats exactly the idea, you would take what you are interested in(preferably leaving some seeds of that variety for the next person) and add to it as well. After the package has exchanged hands a few times it beings to grow and evolve. When everyone has had a turn at it the package loops through the group again with all the new seeds that everyone has contributed. Most of my seeds have been hand collected, some purchased (my personal collection includes...zelkova, bald cypress, engelmann's spruce, goldenrain tree, amur maple, pomegranite, limber pine, trident maple, red maple, jack pine, colorado blue spruce, river birch, tulip tree, redbud, littleleaf linden....and others) I would take a portion of that collection to kick it off.
I will send you more info...

Just curious what do you do with the seeds? Grow a tree or try to grow a bonsai? I'm up here in Canada (Victoria) and have all sorts of trees if anyone wants anything from here let me know.
