something's eating my mums!

Sun Oct 12, 2008 4:45 am

Help! Something is eating the flowers off of my newly planted mums. It almost looks like someone is coming through in the middle of the night and pinching the flowers off. The unopened buds are still untouched and the leaves are fine and it doesn't seem to be going after any other flowers. Right now my plan is to spread some cat hair around them, assuming it's a rodent or something like that. I've seen squirrels, rabbits, and ground hogs in the area. Any ideas?
