Is this Verticulum Wilt?

hello everyone, my name is michael. I love to garden, its a lifestyle

I have done very well in the past dealing with pests, diseases, and fungus.

but I moved to a new place in december, and this is my first year garden.

So here is the breakdown of my garden.

-I planted in well rotted steer/cow manure. in rows 24" wide 9" tall
-water PH is not great at 8.2
-soil PH is 6.7
-watered at 6am and 6pm for 30 minutes with buried soaker hoses
-age old grow 10-5-5 for green growth
-age old bloom for auto flowering plants
-blackstrapp molasses (sugar, vitamins, bacteria etc...) foliar and drench
-Organic foliar spray, purchased at local grow shop( has smell of mint)
-banana manna (nutrient additive/flavor booster
-epsom salt for magnesium

this type of wilt is running through my garden, it now has peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, oregano, strawberries, watermelon, cucumber and zuchini(sp?)

sorry about not rotating the pic of the pepper I forgot to rotate it before I uploaded it. oops

I thought it was Mg deficient, so I have ben supplementing with epsom salt foliar and drench, no change.

Now I'm leading towards Verticulum wilt, could it be that?

Please help this is also my food, lol

Too much or too little water can cause leaf curl as can too much nitrogen. I would think one of those might be why your plants are looking the way they do.

Keep us posted re future developments and maybe it will get more clear what's happening!

Well I have the garden on soaker hoses watering 15 minutes at 6am and 15 minutes at 6pm every day, should I cut it back?

So I read about iron deficient plants, and I found out that it can be cause my too much potasium. I have been fertilizing liquid age old organics 5-10-5( + many other additives all organic) every sunday.

I think it might be too much so now I am gonna flush the soil and not fertilize for a week or two, and than keep it on a 3 week schedule for fertilizer. I hope that will help the situation

But still foliar spray twice a week.

Its just so weird I planted cowhorns, jalepenos, cayanne, and two bell pepper plants

and only the cowhorn is doing decent(about 7 peppers, only plant with them)


Maybe you guys can shed some light and help me with my nutrient schedule.

I would also look at the pH of your water. A pH of 8.2 is fairly alkaline for regular water; 7.0 is neutral. Is it well water, or treated water from a utility?

water is from a well to a collection tank than to house and gardens.

the soil is a steer/cow manure tilled with the top 8" of clay top soil. no perlite or vermiculite or lime added.

I wonder if I need to water less cause the soil is slow draining.

I get home from work an hour ago and the lower corn leaves are dieing and others are going brown... great, what is that? I doubt its overwatering, I heard corn needs alot.
