Daffodil Bulbs

I recently bought a house and the flower beds are over grown with weeds....HUGE weeds with roots like small trees! I had to pull the weeds up and dig up lots of roots. While doing this, I found close to 100 daffodil bulbs. My question is what should I do with them now? Should I just replant them or should I put them in my basement until fall and then re-plant them? The bulbs do not have any growth at all (leaves/flowers).

Thanks for your help!

I'd go ahead and plant them. Daffies are pretty tough, as bulbs go. At least, that's been my experience. :)

I agree, if your bed area is ready, stick them in the ground. It is nearly impossible to hurt daffodils. I dug some up a couple months ago and tossed them on the ground beside an oak tree. Just noticed them yesterday, as had forgotten the plants, the bulbs look great and are simply waiting to be placed back into the soil.

Thank you all for your advise! I'm going to plant them tonight.
