Finger Jade Light

I have this in an east facing window, but I'm wondering if I should place it on the shelf that has direct sunlight, or the shelf that has a more filtered light.

direct, no doubt. there are VERY few succulents that desire LESS light, rather than MORE light. ESPECIALLY indoors. and especially any form of crassula (jade). the more, and the brighter, the better.

Direct sunlight through an east-facing window is fine. Be wary of putting even desert cacti right up close to a west-facing window. When light passes through glass, some of the energy is converted to heat. In summer, the temperature can rise very high within a few inches of the glass. Even the toughest plants can be burned. :)
