ajuga..jungle - Will transplanted ajuga grow?

planted a little ajuga a few years ago and the last year or so it really started taking over the gardens. Pulled it up (mostly). Transplanted some. Roots very shallow.

Question. Will transplanted ajuga grow?

Question. If there are still roots left where I pulled it up will it keep coming back? :?: :)

Yes (agjuga is easy to transplant) and maybe yes (it's pretty hardy stuff so it could come back from roots). However as noted it's pretty shallow rooted. If you dig it up to transplant, if you just take a good bit of soil around it, you aren't too likely to leave enough root to resprout.
