1st time - root stock when should I see in spring

Hello,

I bought some root stock for the 1st time last fall
I planted it based on the instructions - I do have some that were buried in pots in a vegetable garden over the winter
they were well covered with mulch and leaves
I have uncovered them

I am in zone 6a (london ontario)temperature the last few days has been 15-18 celsius (59-64 F)

I am wondering if some didn't survive or if I am just being impatient as I haven't seen anything poking up yet

here is what I am waiting on:

1) Giant Hardy Phlox - a number of varieties
2) Butterfly mix - Asclepias tuberosa 3 varieties
3) Astilbe 4 types
4) Hardy Cyclamen
5) Hardy Fern - not sure what varieties

I would give it until mid May and if you don't see anything contact the seller.
