New Meyers Lemon Tree
I bought a Meyers Lemon Tree about two months ago. It looked very healthy with good leaves plenty of blooms. Since planting it outside it has lost about 50-75% of it's leaves. Is this normal for a transplant?

They can shed during temperature shifts. We have seen a rash of citrus dropping leaves here, mostly weather related. Citrus roots aren't keeping up with nutrition demands and poof, they drop off. The roots go dormant around 50 degrees of soil temperature, and you might get leaf drop after that. The tree is going dormant, not (necessarily) dying. You should get leaves as everything starts back to normal (whatever normal is for weather anymore )
