JB, they closed schools here today for a snow that never happened. It got up to 58 degrees today...and clear. Your compost pile is frozen. You guys would be slapping your knees laughing at our school people but you do have a way to go to "catch up"

I just checked the greenhouse today. Most all of my big slicer tomato plants are up, including a few heirlooms. Also the egg plant and bell peppers are popping up. No true leaves on those yet. My earliest batch of tomatoes is now in bloom and are ready to step up to 3 gallon pots. Will do that Wednesday when the temperature warms back up.

In the next week or so, will start planting annual flowers and in a couple of weeks will plant some early squash and cucumber seeds for transplants.

Sounds like you may be a northern bird?
