Bauhaus architecture and gardening

Hello,

I live on a block that was designed by Walter Gropius, back in 1949. There are was actually a former botanical garden, so it features some really spectacular trees, and good soil in general.

I'll be uploading some pictures to Photobucket soon, so people will see what I'm referring to; however, in the mean time, if anyone knows of a good place to find good pictures of gardens of very contemporary looking homes, or lives in a Bauhaus style house and would like to share some ideas, please do. I made a recent visit to the Gropius House, in Lincoln, Ma, so that's given us a start...hope to hear from others who like this style.

Thanks,
Jim

I think you might want to look at the broadly "modern" designs of Thomas Church, Dan Kiley and James C Rose. I would also encourage you to check out Piet Oudolf's work: https://www.oudolf.com/piet-oudolf
I have not had the opportunity to work on a project of this nature yet but I think it offers some really exciting possibilities. I look forward to your photos.

I seem to have left Garret Ekbo off the list. The caveat with Ekbo and to an extent Church is that they mostly worked in California.
Personally, I tend to prefer more fluid and naturalistic designs like much of the work of Oudolf and Rose with severely geometric architecture.
