What are these shrubs?

I have no idea what these shrubs are and would greatly appreciate some help with that. I am also finding a lot of these purple looking things growing within the shrubs (see last photo). Thanks!

You need better photos with lots of close ups of individual shrubs.

Off the top of my head, purple looking things growing within shrubs sounds a lot like they could be Solanum dulcamara. I don't see any in your photos but based on your location that would be my guess. Highly poisonous if that's what you've got.

Thanks for the quick reply. I had hoped by clicking on the images that they would come up big enough to view details. I cropped the photos further. I researched Solanum dulcamara, and yes, that is exactly what that is. Thank you.

Cropping existing photos isn't going to be enough this time. Sorry about that. You would need to take more photos of branches as well as close ups of the leaves both tops and bottoms and close ups of the base of the plants to include bark. Pretty difficult to stab at what you have with so many look alikes out there.

The only image I can pick out details in that I recognize is the last image. The flowers look like the vine called Deadly Nightshade.

Do an image search of Deadly Nightshade.

the last image is definitely deadly nightshade! I do battle with the darned stuff in my yard every year! It's as bad as ground bindweed, IMO! :x
