If anyone can answer this I would be amazed.
My burning bush died. The right half of it died at the start of the season - it never grew leaves for the year (I eventually cut away the dead portion and applied prune sealer). The left half died approximately 4 weeks or more after they got their leaves (I have several in a row). The leaves on the remaining part just started to dry up. I've had no work done around the house and the bushes are in the backyard - all of which are fine but the one in question. Any ideas what happened?
I attached some pictures to assist.

That does sound spot on! I give lots of credit for knowing that!rainbowgardener wrote:Most likely it got diseased. Verticillium wilt is a fungal disease that affects burning bush that causes sudden die back of one large branch or half the plant.
You need to get the dead shrub out of there, so it doesn't pass the infection on.
Any way I can make sure the ground is clear and ready to plant a new bush?
