Thank you so much for your reply. I bought this less than a week ago looking like this. I moved it outside to indirect sun but a few lower leaves started to shrivel up and burn, and then fall off. So I moved it back to the shade indoors. Also the soil was quite wet and soggy so I repotted it. I live in the tropics. It's around 35C in direct sunlight and about 28-30C in the shade. Do you think that may be too hot? Thanks again.

Those sound like fine temperatures, similar to where I live. Repotting from the soggy soil sounds good. Any plant that is not used to being in the sun can get a sunburn. Try exposing it for a few minutes, and gradually increasing each day by a few minutes until it can get used to a few hours of sun, then it should be OK to leave it outside, as long as the temperatures remain above freezing.
Good idea, I will try gradually increasing sun exposure. It seems to have stabilised now and the leaves have stopped falling off. Yes the temperature never drops below 24C (even at night).
Thank you for your reply. I will keep you posted.
Hope you had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, and all the best for 2017!!

Hello again,
Here is an update on my Grapto propagation. 2 more leaves fell off so I decided to stick them in some soil and see what happens........and they made babies. The baby on the left is actually 2 weeks younger than the baby on the right. No idea why it's so much larger. Right from the start it grew much larger.
Will update again.
Happy gardening!!
