Odd one out

I have about 50 yards of hydrangeas bordering a path, and they all do the normal hydrangea thing. But there is one that it a bit different. It stays green and flowering right through winter. Now this is interesting - is it possible to take cuttings from it, and if I do are they likely to maintain this useful talent?
